Now there is an account that says 'felines are lacking in their colarbone in comparison to ungulates and bears yet this is the least so among amur tigers' - I forgot the exact words. Yet are there any accounts that talk about a good comparison bettween bear and cats strength? I believe that felines are among the strongest pound to pound and kill bigger prey in general yet bears being bulkier have stronger forearms and are said to have denser bones.

To temper here (i.e., the bear forum) the bear vs. big cat soap opera which dominate too much of the online blog-sphere, I think the better course of action for the time being is to better study/understand bear bioengineering and morphology. To this end, relating threads have already been created and more will be created, etc, etc.
